TCS Nashik Controversy: Harassment Claims Emerge

Nashik, April 11, 2026 — A disturbing scandal has surfaced at the Nashik branch of Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), with serious allegations of sexual harassment, moral exploitation, and attempts at religious conversion being leveled against several senior employees.
According to Nashik Police, six team leaders have been arrested after nine FIRs were registered by eight women employees and one male Hindu colleague. The complaints span over the last two to four years and have raised serious concerns about workplace safety and cultural sensitivities in India’s premier IT company.
What Are the Allegations Against TCS Nashik Employees?
The victims, mostly young women aged 18–25, have made the following shocking claims:
- Repeated sexual harassment, inappropriate comments on their body and clothing, molestation, and mental torture by senior team leaders.
- One woman alleged sexual exploitation under the false promise of marriage.
- Mockery of Hindu gods and goddesses and deliberate attempts to hurt religious sentiments.
- Pressure to consume beef and other acts aimed at undermining Hindu cultural identity.
- A male Hindu employee claimed he was coerced into offering Namaz and pressured to convert his religion.
The accused, who held supervisory positions in the BPO department, allegedly misused their power to target junior employees. The TCS Nashik facility employs around 300 people.
The arrested individuals include Asif Ansari, Shafi Sheikh, Shah Rukh Qureshi, Raza Memon, Tausif Attar, and one more. A separate FIR has also been filed against the HR Head for allegedly ignoring complaints and failing to take action.
Maharashtra Government Takes Note
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has described the case as “very serious” and has directed the police to conduct a thorough investigation. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has been formed. Local Hindu organizations and BJYM activists staged protests outside the TCS office, demanding justice and strict action against the accused.
TCS Yet to Issue Detailed Statement
Tata Consultancy Services has so far maintained silence on the specific allegations. Sources indicate the company is cooperating with the police, but many are questioning the effectiveness of its internal grievance redressal mechanisms and POSH compliance.
This incident has once again highlighted the urgent need for better background checks, strict workplace discipline, and protection of Hindu employees’ cultural identity in multinational and large corporate setups.
For Hindu society, such cases are deeply concerning as they point to systematic targeting of young Hindu girls and boys in the name of “modern corporate culture.”
Demand for Swift Justice
Hindutone stands firmly with the victims and demands:
- Fast-track investigation and exemplary punishment for the guilty.
- Strict implementation of POSH guidelines in every IT company.
- Protection of religious sentiments and cultural identity of Hindu employees.
- Accountability from senior management for lapses in oversight.
Every Indian workplace must be safe for women and respectful of Sanatan Dharma. No one should be allowed to misuse their position to harass or convert employees.
We will keep a close watch on this case and bring you regular updates on the police investigation, court proceedings, and any action taken by TCS management.
