Infosys Launches Off-Campus Hiring Drive with Significantly Hiked Salaries for Specialized Roles

In a major boost for fresh engineering graduates, IT giant Infosys is set to roll out an off-campus hiring drive targeting 2025 and 2026 batch students, offering substantially hiked salary packages for specialized technical roles. This move aligns with the company’s AI-first strategy, aiming to attract top digitally native talent with expertise in advanced technologies.

The hiring drive focuses on roles such as Specialist Programmer (L1 to L3) and Digital Specialist Engineer (Trainee), open to candidates with BE/BTech, ME/MTech, MCA, or integrated MSc degrees in Computer Science, IT, and select circuit branches like ECE and EEE.

Revised Salary Structure (Hiked Packages):

• Specialist Programmer L3 (Trainee): ₹21 LPA
• Specialist Programmer L2 (Trainee): ₹16 LPA
• Specialist Programmer L1 (Trainee): ₹11 LPA
• Digital Specialist Engineer (Trainee): ₹7 LPA

These packages position Infosys as the highest-paying Indian IT firm for entry-level specialized roles, surpassing standard fresher offers in the industry. Some earlier recruitment details mentioned slight variations (e.g., bonuses for lower levels), but the latest confirmed structure emphasizes fixed higher CTCs to compete for skilled talent amid the AI boom.

Infosys Group CHRO Shaji Mathew highlighted the expansion of opportunities in the Specialist Programmer track, stating that the company is combining campus and off-campus drives to meet just-in-time talent needs while upskilling existing employees.

The company is on track to hire 20,000 freshers this fiscal year, having already onboarded 12,000 in the first half. This initiative reflects the growing demand for AI/ML, data science, and full-stack development skills in the evolving IT landscape.
